Dr Margaret Ashwell OBE FAfN RNutr (Public Health) was elected President for the Association for Nutrition on 1st January 2016.

Dr Margaret Ashwell said that ‘protecting the public and championing nutrition professionals who meet the high standards required to be Registered Nutritionists is (her) foremost priority as President for the Association for Nutrition (AfN).’

Dr Margaret Ashwell OBE appointed as a Senior Visiting Fellow

In June 2015, Dr Margaret Ashwell OBE was appointed as a Senior Visiting Fellow at Cass Business School, City University London. This followed several years of collaboration with the Actuarial Department on the importance of waist-height ratio in determining life expectancy.
