Joining
Us
Membership is open to those
with a degree, recognised by the Nutrition Society, in nutrition or a
directly related subject e.g. dietetics, medicine, biochemistry. Our
current membership numbers 50 plus.
A four-tier membership exists:

Full Membership (register and meeting attendance): Cost
£50.00.
For those members with a degree recognised by the Nutrition
Society and registered as a nutritionist or public health
nutritionist with the Nutrition Society or registered with the
Health Professions Council for at least 2 years as a dietitian.
This enables the member to attend both meetings free of charge,
provides the member with a copy of the Register of all members
which contains details of their expertise, skills etc and
listing on the SENSE website (Meet the Members' page). |

(with non meeting attendance): Cost £40.00.
For those members with a degree recognised by the Nutrition
Society and registered as a nutritionist or public health
nutritionist with the Society or registered with the Health
Professions Council for at least 2 years as a dietitian.
This provides the member with a copy of the Register and listing
on the SENSE website (Meet the Members' Page). It is
designed for those unable to attend meetings on a regular basis. |

Associate Membership (with meeting attendance):
Cost £50.00.
For those members who have recently qualified with a degree
recognised by the Nutrition Society eg holding associate
nutritionist or associate public health nutritionist status with
the Society or a newly qualified dietitian. This enables
the member to attend both meetings free of charge and provides
the member with a copy of the Register of all members which
contains details of their expertise, skills etc. Once they
are eligible for full registration with the Nutrition Society
the member will be upgraded to full membership status and listed
on the SENSE website (Meet the Members' Page). |
